Thailand’s supervisory authority publishes draft data transfer regulations

Thailand’s data supervisory authority, the Personal Data Protection Committee or PDPC published draft regulations on cross-border data transfers in accordance with s.28 and 29, Personal Data Protection Act. The draft regulation allows for data to be transferred to countries with adequate data protection standards which the PDPC may decided on a case-by-case basis.
